          I know we will have all year to get to know each other but here is just a little bit about myself. I grew up in Vermilion, Ohio and graduated from Vermilion High School! I attended two years at Lorain Community College and transferred to Bowling Green State University where I graduated with a Bachelors degree in English in 2011.

          Later that year, I was married to my husband Mr. Arendt who I fondly refer to as Ziggy. In the summer of 2013 I graduated with my Masters in Education and received my teaching licensure. I have taught at Euclid High School 9th & 12th grade English as well as 9th grade Reading.

          At Vermilion I teach 8th grade English, and ACT prep, and Broadcast Journalism. I am also the Book Club advisor. Currently, I live in Lorain with my husband and three cats Kingslayer, Stevens, and Gizmo (yes, I know that is a lot of cats). I look forward to getting to know all of you as the year progresses.
